Just finished the video compilation of the training hike from last Friday.
It was a strenuous 4,033 foot uphill battle (and of course - the down hill part, too) on Mt. Wrightson. It's a 9,453 foot peak rising out of the desert floor just south of Tucson. There are beautiful views from the mountain top. And - a type of yellow flower is in bloom and scattered across the hillsides at higher elevations. The backside of Mt. Wrightson is recovering from a 2005 fire.
